Terms of service

These terms are between you and [Dalloway legal entity name and registered address — to be completed before launch] (“Dalloway”, “we”). Restaurants that subscribe also sign an order form; if it conflicts with these terms, the order form wins.

For guests

  • Reservations are made with the restaurant, not with Dalloway. The restaurant sets its own availability, policies, deposits and cancellation rules, which are shown before you book.
  • Give accurate contact details. One reservation per guest per service may be enforced to keep tables fair.
  • Reservations are for your own use. Reselling or transferring a reservation for payment is not allowed unless the restaurant permits transfers, and then only through the transfer link in your confirmation.
  • Automated booking tools that scrape, poll or hold inventory without the restaurant's permission are not allowed.
  • Any deposit or card hold is charged by the restaurant under its stated policy, through its own payment processor.

For restaurants

  • Plans are billed monthly in advance and renew month to month. You can cancel any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing month.
  • There are no per-cover fees. Included texting and voice minutes are listed on your plan; extra voice minutes are billed at the published rate.
  • You own your guest and reservation data. You can export it at any time and for 90 days after you cancel.
  • You are responsible for your own reservation policies, for having a lawful basis to contact your guests, and for the house information you give the AI host.
  • The AI host can make mistakes. It is designed to hand off to your team when unsure, and every booking it makes is visible and editable at the host stand.
  • Payments for deposits and card holds run through your own Stripe account and are subject to Stripe's terms. We take no platform fee on them.

Acceptable use

Don't use Dalloway to send messages guests haven't agreed to receive, to break the law, or to interfere with the service or other customers.

Availability and liability

We work hard to keep Dalloway available during service and will tell you promptly about incidents. To the extent the law allows, our total liability under these terms is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim.

Changes

We'll give restaurants at least 30 days' notice of material changes to these terms or to their plan's price.
